The Zak Partnership was founded over 30 years ago with a simple mission: to provide trusted, personalised accounting services that put people before paperwork. We started as a family-run practice in UK, built on strong client relationships and hands-on advice. Over the decades, we’ve grown our client base across the UK, all while staying true to our core values—accessibility, integrity and practical support.

Zak Gara
Founder
Zak is a highly experienced and accomplished Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA qualified since 1993) with over 30 years of expertise in both the private and corporate sectors. He has worked in a Financial Controller role in Olympic events running from 1994 to 2016. During the London 2012 games, he oversaw the financial operations where 1,250 personnel were employed. Played a critical role in delivering financially sound operations across multiple Olympic cycles. Extensive experience managing sole trader and limited company accounts, from setup to year-end.
Shahina Bhaiyat
Senior Accountant
Shahina is an ACCA Chartered Certified Accountant with over 9 years of experience and a talent for making finance feel a lot less… well, boring. Fluent in all things accounting, she’s known for turning complicated money matters into simple, stress-free solutions that actually make sense. Clients value her calm, no nonsense approach and her knack for making even the trickiest figures feel manageable. When she’s not balancing budgets, she’s likely balancing butter and flour in the kitchen whipping up homemade treats with the same precision and patience she brings to her work – because whether its numbers or recipes, the secret to success is all in the details!
Aisha Gara
Senior Accountant
Aisha is a Senior Accountant with over five years of experience working in respected accountancy practices across Leicester and London. A graduate of Loughborough University, she combines a strong academic foundation with real-world expertise in tax and accounting. Currently in the final stages of completing her ACA qualification, Aisha is committed to maintaining the highest professional standards while continuing to build on her extensive practical experience. Based in London with her husband and their one-year-old, Aisha balances a busy family life with her passion for helping clients achieve clarity and confidence in their finances. And yes—she’s also Zak’s daughter, which means she grew up with accountancy in her DNA (some kids got bedtime stories, Aisha got tax codes).
